Structured Content for modular data delivery
Object oriented programming and databases have been a reality for decades.
Componentized manufacturing which uses reusable modular components has been the key
strength of automated manufacturing. Now we are entering the age where the documentation
and maintenance information for these products can also be modularized and componentized to
        integrate with the product set.
This presentation will focus on how information can be organized into reusable component
and assembled for access via web or printed delivery. It will focus on how data can be structured
so that Web Delivery can be interactive and consistent with Web2.0 philosophy. We will discuss
how, once the material is modularized, it can be translated and these translation managed across
the entire documentation set. Finally we will demonstrate how this is accomplished using
technologies such as XML, DITA, and how it can be managed affordably using a SaaS architecture.
